You have probably used a marketing funnel before, and chances are it did not work as well for you as it did for others. In a later post, we’ll discuss why most marketing systems do not work.

Meanwhile, let’s cover the basics of a marketing funnel.

1. Lead Magnet

A lead magnet is a free offer to your online visitors in exchange for an email address. These email addresses create your list.

The email address is how you deliver what you promised. More importantly, you can send your customers more offers and other relevant information. All of this can be automated.

Remember those many opt-in forms you have submitted to get something in return? Those were lead magnets. We can help you create such opt-in offers.

The key is multiple income streams:

To optimize this strategy, you need to present your list with various offers over time. Multiple offers increase your earnings per lead and provide you with enough money to pay for more ads. All the while providing your list with what they need and want.

Once a marketing funnel is in place, most of the redundant marketing processes are taken care of. Now, you will have more time freedom to improve your offerings.

3. Sales Page or many Sales Pages

These pages are where prospects make purchases. A marketing funnel automates the sales process. These pages are the key to making sales and is the point of the entire marketing process.

With an automated sales process, you make money while you sleep which is the key to financial freedom!

4. Other Landing Pages

You need other pages to complete the marketing funnel. For instance, there should be a page where customers land on after making a purchase.

You also need other pages that your prospects can view before making the first purchase. In marketing, we call these pages upsells and down-sells.

You should also create other pages customers can land on that provide valuable information. They could be blog articles or video content that can convince customers to make more purchases.

The fact is you need a complete marketing funnel to automate the sales and marketing process.
